Black Friday insanity getting you down? Not to worry, because Small Business Saturday is tomorrow!
One of the great things of living in Greater Boston is the classic New England town center. We have a long tradition of excellent retail in small towns that is still going strong. This year we wanted to highlight a few retailers in one of our favorite towns, Wellesley.
CouCou (586 Washington Street)
It’s hard to think of the holidays without thinking of toys, and CouCou has some of the best around. CouCou has taken Wellesley by storm since opening in 2018. The high-quality selection of toys and clothing thrived in Boston’s trendy South End and owner Astrid Motsenigos decided to open her second location in a town where many South Enders are buying homes.
Anderson’s has been a Wellesley institution since 1947. Their estate jewelry business has been a mainstay for decades, never failing to impress with its character, craftsmanship, and timelessness. Whether shopping for a unique holiday party accessory, a hostess gift, a sterling silver piece for a daughter, or an engagement ring for a special someone, you’ll find what you need at Anderson’s.
Cachet (16 Church Street)
Treat yourself to a little luxury at Cachet, Wellesley’s premier décor shop. The carefully crafted shopping experience is like being in Santa’s workshop, where sharp-eyed patrons can find a treasure in every corner. Take your time, relax, and look around at the imported clothing, hand-made tabletop Christmas trees, and designer pieces from brands like Simon Pierce.
